CONSENT AGENDA » - Approval of Minutes (a) January 24, 2022 Joint Session
January 24, 2022 Approval of Expenditures Award/Rejection of Bid/Proposal: (Purchase of products/services through formal procurement process by this agency) (b) RFB No. 2022-0127-B for the Residential Concrete Pavement Repair - Zone G10, Project No. 7398, for the Public Works Department to SAZ Global Incorporated dba Saz Infrastructure in the amount of $5,327,850; and authorizing the City Manager to execute all necessary documents. (c) RFB No. 2022-0118-AC for an initial term effective from date of contract execution through September 30, 2022, with up to four (4) automatic one-year renewals for granular fertilizer for the Parks and Recreation Department to Ameriturf, A Series of Scruggs Industries, LLC in the estimated annual amount of $110,805; and authorizing the City Manager to execute all necessary documents. (h) To approve the purchase of Microsoft software licenses for a three (3) year term to be paid annually for Technology Services in the estimated annual amount of $1,372,871, for an estimated total amount of $4,118,613, from SHI Government Solutions, Inc. through an existing contract; and authorizing the City Manager to execute all necessary documents. Adoption of Ordinances (s) To transfer the sum of $3,500,000 from the General Fund Unappropriated fund balance to the General Fund Operating Appropriation for fiscal year 2021-22 for the purpose of providing funding in the amount of $750,000 for dead or damaged tree removal from the 2021 Winter Storm Uri; $950,000 to upgrade the security card readers at all City facilities; and $1,800,000 for the installation of fabric vehicle canopies to provide protection for City vehicles during severe weather events, amending the Budget of the City adopted by Ordinance No. 2021-9-9, specifically Section 1, Item “A”, to reflect the actions taken herein; declaring this action to be in the public interest; and providing an effective date. (t) To abandon all right, title and interest of the City in and to a tract of land situated in the Robert Benefield Survey, Abstract No. 99, City of Plano, Collin County, Texas and being all of Nueces Drive dedicated by the plat of Promontory on Preston, an addition to the City of Plano, Texas according to the plat thereof recorded in Volume L, Page 447, Official Public Records of Collin County, Texas; abandoning all right, title and interest of the City in such right-of-way to the abutting property owner, Promontory Ltd., to the extent of its interest; authorizing the City Manager or his authorized designee to execute any documents deemed necessary to quitclaim the City’s interest; and providing an effective date. (u) To amend Section 12-101, Prohibited on certain streets at all times, of Article V, Stopping, Standing and Parking, Chapter 12, Motor Vehicles and Traffic, of the City of Plano Code of Ordinances to establish a no parking zone on a certain section of 20th Street, within the city limits of the City of Plano; and providing a penalty clause, a repealer clause, a severability clause, a savings clause, a publication clause, and an effective date.
